Nancy was delighted to once again her brother had recieved a strange package. "Come on, what's in there?" Nancy asked excited. Ronny was still busy trying to break up the wooden box that enclosed the actual piece. Crashing the boards fell to the ground. Inside was a box, it looked old, like a treasure chest of a pirate movie. It was quite large, the surface consisted of smooth dark wood, which seemed pervaded by purple fibers. The fittings were made of shiny silver metal. Everywhere in the metal strange symbols were engraved on it. Tied to the handle was a small brown bag and a heavy-looking book bound in the dark leather. Ronny went to it, and picked the book and the bag. Then he struck open the first page of the book and began reading in it. Nancy was intrigued and decided to examine the box more closely. She let her hand glide over the surface. It was smooth and cold, although it was wood. It was big enough that Nancy would fit into it. In addition, the box was not locked, or at least the young woman could see no lock. Ronny seemed to be busy with the book. Nancy succumbed to the desire to look into it. But when she tried to open the lid she got a strange feeling. For a brief moment, a symbol flashed on the surface of the metal. Beginning from her fingers, she went through a cold shower. On and on it crawled through her arms over her shoulders over her upper body. Nancy wanted to call her brother, but her voice was silent. She could not withdraw her arms. The cold had already placed on her lower body and legs. Completely immobile, the blonde woman was sitting in front of the objekt.
Ronny had flown over the first pages of the book, as he had assumed it was a description of the box. Since everything was recorded by hand, it took a while untill he understood the important things. He had just done the part about the traps protcting it. "Wow, this thing is full of traps!" There was some time passed, since Nancy last said something. so he looked briefly to check on her. "Seems like you've already found the trap at the lock." He said more to himself than to the woman who knelt there. If he had understood it correctly, people who try to open it illegal will be put into a stuppor. That was exactly what was happening now to his sister. He was sure if he would simply move her away, it would not remove the effect, but it would not hurt her either. He quickly grabbed her and pulled Nancy and away from the box. She still didn´t move. When he put his hand on her forehead, he noticed that she was cold. Her eyes stared vacantly into the distance. Nancy's body was hard and smooth. Her clothes were not affected. Ronny did not rush into anything, so he sat on the floor and opened the book again to learn what he could do to free her from this state. Ronny quickly came to the conclusion that still more traps protected the box from unauthorized opening and it was definitely an advantage to have a "Guinea pig". None of the effects were fatal, but all had very debilitating side effects. "According to the book, all effects can be removed with the correct key-stones wich should be in this bag." he read out.

Lisa In A Box
Lisa and Arthur's Box of Doom
It was after the interval and Lisa was anticipating being called to volunteer on the stage. The magician had approached her in the lobby and asked if she would be willing to participate in an illusion. She had said, "Yes, so long as there is no hypnosis involved." She had heard about Quinn's experience from Quinn herself and did not fancy ending up naked on stage. She was assured that someone else was already lined up for that.
The first half had been entertaining, including the hypnosis section where a young woman called Judy had been hypnotised and stripped off behind the screen and put on the skimpy bikini p

Vignette - Warehouse Mixup 2
Keeley imagined the AutoCart was very pleased with itself as it drove her to the shipping area. It made little chirps and warning whistles along the way, taking it's slow, sweet time. Letting Keeley stew in her frozen body, staring helplessly up to the rafters, corrugated roof, and pallets of toys in the high reaches of the shelves. She begged quietly for someone, a human, to find her. She couldn't imagine how she could live in a shipping box traveling cross country, but also had a feeling that it was possible. She would have gulped, if she could.
The AutoCart couldn't hear her begging, and wouldn't have cared about them even if it did. It

Into the Box
Many people in the town had wonderful things to say about Ye Olde Toys. Jackie was not one of them. It wasn’t just that she didn’t care for toys, but it was also because the store had recently installed a giant new attraction; a large Jack-in-the-Box with a human sized Jack. The girl swore he popped from his box without warning, without a song or dance, and it nearly gave her a heart attack every time he popped. In fact, Jackie had come to the point where she would take a roundabout way around the mall or avoid the mechanical monstrosity, or stand nearby and wait for Jack to appear just to make sure he wouldn’t pop out and s
